Keep it on your mind

As the end of Pitkin County Public Health’s COVID mandate approached, our challenge was to maintain public awareness in a world where pandemic fatigue was setting in. Transitioning from indoor life in a high-altitude environment to the outdoor freedom of spring, we needed an engaging campaign to keep people vigilant.

Our ‘Be COVID Conscious’ campaign was born, centered around a mesmerizing visual of step and repeat lines in vibrant multi-colors, emphasizing the importance of remaining vigilant in a conscious world. In addition to the traditional communication channels like newspapers, digital, and social media, we strategically placed our messaging in high-traffic areas—newspaper stands, flower beds, public bathrooms, restroom doors, and even on public trash cans. The aim was to ensure that the message remained visible and impactful, even as life shifted towards a more open outdoor environment.
